Massey Ferguson Limited Edition Diecast Tractor Models Launched in 2010

There have been a number of limited edition Massey Ferguson diecast tractor models launched in 2010, here we explore the special features and their exclusivity.

First launched on 10th June 2010 was the White Massey Ferguson 8690 model, produced by Universal Hobbies in a 1:32 scale.  The White MF 8690 was limited to 4000 pieces worldwide with each model individually numbered under the chassis from 0001/4000 to 4000/4000.  Part number MUH2939.



Available from 30th October 2010, Universal Hobbies have produced a tractor model limited to just 999 pieces worldwide.  This model is a 1:16 scale silver brushed finish MF 35X tractor.  Each tractor is individually numbered on the chassis and we anticipate these to be highly sought after.  Part number MUH2981.  We have just recieved our order of these and we have been looking at the features.  The silver MF 35X model has an opening bonnet and also a lifting bonnet flap to expose the fuel tank.  The tractor also features an opening tool box, a moving linkage, up and down and a working steering column.  We are very impressed with the detail of the silver MF 35X, it even has a fitted fan belt.



The last to be lauched on 20th November 2010 is the Black MF 7499 model tractor.  Part number MUH2982.  Again a Universal Hobbies produced model in 1:32 scale.  The Black Massey Ferguson 7499 is limited to only 4000 worldwide and each tractor model is individually numbered under the chassis.  These might make an excellent Christmas present for model tractor collectors and enthusiasts alike.
